Today, when I search on Google a
key word “positive thinking”, I see the synonym: optimism. To clarify this
word, there’s an idiom “A glass with water at the halfway point”. It means the
way people look at the world, while the optimist see the glass as half full,
the pessimist who have negative thinking see the glass as half empty. So,
what’s the power of positive thinking and how to avoid thinking negatively?
What’s the power of positive thinking?
First, the optimist have more friends than pessimist because of their
attractive attitude. They attract people by their healthy soul, their
smiling face could make people happy, satisfied. As a result, positive thinker
get more help they need. And what‘s your feeling after listerning the common
sentence “you can’t, it’s impossible”?
Second, there are the health benefits of Positive thinking,
including: less stress, increase physical well-being, and better psychological
health. One theory is that people who think positively tend to be less affected
by stress and avoid unhealthy behaviors. When people have a good health, they
could do more and more sussecfully at work.
How to avoid to think negatively?
The bad world view seems to be
popular when people have problems in their life. One of the most easy ways to avoid thinking negatively is not to be
around pessimists. Misery could be brought by negative vibrations. This
might make it worse. So, don’t allow yourself to be brought down by pessimists.
If they are your close people/relationship, you should bound the affection of your soul to their opinion. And spending more time on optimists could be beneficial to your soul.
Finally, let’s nurture a hopeful heart. Believing the good outcome not only
brings high spirits but also defines the positive way to solve problems. What
is the meaning of “the positive way”? For example, giving up easily your goal
is not the positive way. People usualy tend to run away their problem. And if
it happens several times, you might lost yourself, may not understand the
meaning of life.
